Spearheaded the sale of 151,000 square feet, with a deal volume of $50 million

Leased a total of 550,000 square feet

Hani Abdelkader is the principal and practice lead of Avison Young’s retail leasing and sales team. Working out of the company’s Calgary office, Abdelkader closed a total of 150 transactions in 2024, consisting of 550,000 square feet of leases and $50 million in sales volume.

Notable highlights include backfilling 100,000 square feet at Creekside Shopping Centre, 70,000 square feet at the former Beddington Co-Op Grocery Store, and 70,000 square feet at the Village Square Co-Op Grocery Store, all in Calgary. He also spearheaded 25,000 square feet in renewals at Crowfoot Crossing.
