B.C. To Get its First IKEA  Plan and Order Store

IKEA plans to open a new plan-and-order location in Abbotsford, B.C., this fall.

It will be the Swedish furniture retailer’s first plan-and-order store in B.C.

IKEA’s plan-and-order points  offer customers one-on-one planning services with IKEA experts to design and purchase home furnishings that range from kitchen renovations to bedroom storage systems.

Customers have the option of getting the orders delivered or picking them up at plan-and-order points.

The new Abbotsford outlet will be located in the West Oaks Mall at 80-32700 South Fraser Way.

“With the ongoing success and positive customer response to our existing plan-and-order points, we see that Canadians are seeking inspiration and expertise to improve their spaces and better meet their evolving needs at home,” said Jessie Quick, IKEA Canada’s country business development and transformation manager.

IKEA has operated in B.C. for almost 50 years.
