New Bonap Food Court Opens at Montreal’s Alexis Nihon Mall

A new Bonap food court has opened at Montreal’s Alexis Nihon mall.

The new food court contains 10 restaurants and three more are slated to open in early 2026. The opening comes after Cominar, the mall’s owner, renovated the old food court and gave the improved site a new name.

“The creation of this new food court represents a significant investment for Cominar,” said Marie-Andrée Boutin, Cominar’s chief development and real estate operations officer at Cominar. “Beyond strengthening the centre’s appeal within Montreal’s retail landscape, it also contributes to the vitality of the neighbourhood.”

The 10 newly opened restaurants are:

  • Grillades Torino
  • Muffin Plus
  • Poke Monster
  • Poulet Rouge
  • Real Fruit Bubble Tea
  • Shawarma Plus
  • Souvlaki Bar
  • Subway
  • Sushi Shop
  • Thaï Express

The three forthcoming eateries are Emilia, Manchu Wok, and Roll’V.

Cominar said the food court’s new layout was designed to maximize natural light. As a result of ceilings being raised, the food court now opens fully onto the mezzanine.

To enhance sustainability, the food court includes waste sorting stations, smart lighting, and the Solucycle organic waste-recovery system, among other features.
