Canderel to Manage Tour Deloitte Following Sale to Deka

Canderel will assume asset, property and leasing management of Tour Deloitte (Deloitte Tower) in downtown Montreal following its sale to Germany’s DekaBank.

The class AAA office tower, located at 1190 Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal, comprises 513,170 square feet of office space in the core of Montreal’s central business district. Deka recently acquired the property from Cadillac Fairview for an undisclosed price through Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH fund.

Canderel partnered with Deka on the transaction, co-leading the acquisition and supporting the buyer through technical, legal and financial due diligence, as well as overseeing the full operational transition of the asset.

“Leveraging our deep, long-standing Montreal platform and national institutional management expertise, we will continue to deliver a best-in-class experience for tenants while executing on Deka’s long-term investment strategy,” said Bryce Margetts, a Canderel senior vice-president.

With the addition of Tour Deloitte, Canderel now manages several prominent Canadian office assets for Deka, including Stantec Tower in Edmonton and 401 West Georgia Street in Vancouver.
