Castlepoint Numa, Partners Aim to Develop Four-Tower Multi-Res Project in Toronto’s Distillery District

A new joint-venture known as 3C Lakeshore plans to develop a new four-tower multi-residential project in Toronto’s Distillery district.

The JV comprises Castlepoint Numa, Continental Ventures Realty and Cityzen Group, who have filed a development application with the city. The proposed development site encompasses 324 Cherry Street and 429 Lake Shore Boulevard East.

The four towers are slated to be part of a mixed-use project within a four-block community known as the Bend, which would include retail, other commercial public-park and open spaces. The development application revises previous submissions.

According to Urban Toronto, the Bend is part of a larger 14-building redevelopment designed to bring 5,000 homes to Toronto’s Port Lands.

If all goes according to plan, the four proposed towers will stand 29, 38, 43 and 53 storeys. COBE Architects, architects-Alliance, SvN and CCxA are designing the project.

Planning and urban design firm WND Associates submitted the new development application on behalf of the JV.
