Century 21’s Khela Recognized Again for Distinguished CRE Service

(Harp Khela is among the 2025 Canadian Next Generation Awards recipients, as selected by Connect CRE Canada. This profile explains how he stands out among his peers. Read about all of the award winners.)

Harp Khela is a sales representative with Century 21. He specializes in the disposition and acquisition of large land parcels for local and international investors in British Columbia’s Fraser Valley. His ultimate goal is to attract billions of dollars in new investment into B.C., specifically throughout Surrey and the Fraser Valley, over the next decade.

He was instrumental in the recent lease transaction on behalf of Willowbrae Child Care in Delta, B.C., the largest daycare centre in the Vancouver suburb. Khela also handled an unfinished, foreclosed building on 104th Street in Surrey, securing a buyer who paid $56.6 million for the structure.

Khela served as a councillor for the Town of Vermillion, Alta.; the town presented him with various awards, including Business of the Year, Spirit of Vermillion and President’s Choice Award.

He is an active member with the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP), the ULI and the Urban Development Institute. He has been involved with the Vermillion Rotary Club, Lakeland Mall Merchants Association, British Columbia Student Aid Board, Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association (DSBIA), Fleetwood Business Improvement Association (FBIA) and the David Suzuki Foundation.

Century 21 honoured Khela with its #1 Producer in the World and the Grand Centurion Awards. He also received Drishti Magazine’s Businessperson of the Year honors.

These are just a few reasons we chose Harp Khela as one of Connect CRE Canada’s 2025 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.

This marks the second award that Khela has received from Connect this year. He was also named a 2025 Canadian Top Broker.
