Christine Bergeron has become president and CEO of Concert Properties.

CEO Bergeron Takes Extended Leave from Concert

Christine Bergeron has taken an extended leave from her position as president and CEO of Concert Properties.

Vancouver-based Concert said Bergeron wants to focus on her health and family. As a result, Concert has appointed John Dooling as interim CEO.

Since the length of Bergeron’s leave is unclear, Concert’s board has also begun a search for a new president and CEO, said the company.

“On behalf of the board of directors, our first thoughts are with Christine and her family, and we join everyone here in supporting her in what matters most,” said Ivan Limpright, chair of Concert’s board. “Christine has led with strength, passion and conviction during a pivotal time for our company.

“She is an exceptional leader whose intellect, vision and ability to empower others have elevated our position.”

Dooling will fulfill the CEO duties in addition to his current responsibilities as the company’s managing director and CFO. He previously served as interim CEO between June 2024 and July 2025 as Bergeron took a previous leave and phased in her return.

Bergeron joined Concert in 2023 from Vancity, one of Canada’s largest credit unions, where she also served as president and CEO.
