Elizabeth Anton, RBC Capital Markets

Elizabeth Anton is the managing director of debt brokerage advisory with RBC Capital Markets in Toronto, where she has built an extensive career in commercial real estate investment banking.

Anton provides strategic guidance within global investment banking, specializing in real estate. She was promoted to her current position in January 2024 after serving as the firm’s director of global banking for about 14 years.

Over the years, she has also contributed to RBC’s global corporate banking and real estate divisions, having also spent time in equity research, equity capital markets, and corporate finance.

Before joining RBC, Anton was a development project manager with Pacific Capital Real Estate in Vancouver, where she managed projects for nearly four years. Her academic achievements are equally impressive. She earned an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University in London, Ont., where she was awarded the Robert W. Johnson C.A. MBA Gold Medal.

She also holds a bachelor of applied science in integrated engineering from UBC and was recognized with the Achievement Award from the group now known as .Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia.
