Landa Acquires Kerrisdale Condo Development Site Via Court Sale
Landa Global Properties has acquired a prime condominium development site in Kerrisdale through a court-ordered sale.
The property, located at 2096 West 41st Avenue, sold for $14 million, according to Colliers.
The 18,000-square-foot site is located at the corner of West 41st Avenue and East Boulevard and was previously substantially owned by developr iFortune before a lender forced it into bankruptcy, according to multiple reports.
The sale process was overseen by the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
“Kerrisdale is one of Vancouver’s most desirable neighbourhoods, and we look forward to bringing a high-quality development to this community.” said Kevin Cheung, Landa’s CEO.
Landa has been active in Vancouver’s real estate market, with multiple projects across the city, including luxury condominiums in the downtown area and high-end residential developments in affluent neighbourhoods such as Oakridge and Shaughnessy on the city’s west side.
“We are committed to delivering thoughtfully designed homes that enhance their surroundings,” Cheung added. “We look forward to sharing more details about our plans for this site in the near future.”
