Optima’s Ku Uses Caring Approach to Develop People, Teams

(Connect has handed out its third-annual Canadian Women in Real Estate Awards. This story profiles Natalie Ku, CFO at Optima Living.)

As CFO with Optima Living, Natalie Ku oversees the company’s accounting, finance and payroll departments. She has over 20 years of experience in finance and operations, spanning both private and public companies. Optima Living has established a strong reputation as an owner and operator of seniors’ residential communities located in western Canada.

During her career, Ku has held senior positions, including CFO, COO, VP of Finance, and Controller, during which she executed organizational goals across multiple functions, such as finance, strategy, operations, marketing, sales, human resources, and technology.

Ku is a caring leader dedicated to developing people and teams, as well as establishing long-term relationships.

These are just some of the reasons why Connect Canada CRE honoured Natalie Ku with a 2025 Canadian Women in Real Estate Award. The awards celebrate the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
