RH’s New Gallery at Royalmount Mixes Home with Hospitality
RH has officially opened its first design gallery in Quebec, unveiling a 49,000-square-foot immersive retail and hospitality space at Royalmount in Montreal.
RH Montreal, the Gallery at Royalmount, features luxury home furnishings from RH Interiors, Modern and Outdoor collections, alongside rare art, antiques, and global artifacts. The multi-level structure also houses a dramatic glass-encased rooftop restaurant and park. The year-round dining space is designed as a skylit garden and offers a curated menu of enduring classics and fresh seafood, served beneath an atrium adorned with chandeliers, heritage olive trees, and a central fountain.
The restaurant flows seamlessly into a landscaped rooftop park inspired by Europe’s classical gardens, with RH outdoor lounge areas, shade canopies, limestone fire tables, and sculptural evergreens.
“We believe great architecture amplifies and renders our product and brand more valuable,” said RH Chairman and CEO Gary Friedman. “We either find great historical architecture and readapt it, or we build it.”
“RH Montreal is an entirely new design, built from the ground up.”
He said the gallery reflects the firm’s quest to continue revolutionizing physical retailing, blurring the lines between residential and retail, indoors and outdoors, home and hospitality.
