Rosefellow Leases New 248,498-SF Ontario Industrial Building to AutoShack

Rosefellow has leased a new 248,498-square-foot speculative industrial building in Ottawa’s Kanata area to automobile parts distributor AutoShack.

The deal is the largest lease of a speculative development in Ottawa this year, Rosefellow said in an Instagram post.

The Colliers team of Oliver Kershaw, Lindsay Hockey and Daniel Niedra represented Montreal-based Rosefellow in the transaction.

AutoShack is slated to begin operating the building in 2025.

Located at 405 Huntmar Road, the building is one of two large new light-industrial assets comprising 478,745 sf on the 21.4-acre site. The other building has yet to be leased, according to multiple reports.

The buildings’ features include 32-foot clear ceilings, 28 dock-level doors and two drive-in ports per building and four double EV-charging stalls per building.
