
Stong’s to Open Grocery Store, Flower Shop in Surrey
Stong’s Supermarket will open a new grocery store and flower shop in Lark Group’s City Centre 4 (CC4) mixed-use building in late 2025.
The grocery chain’s loral division, STEMS, will operate as a stand-alone location within CC4, which is part of the Lark Group’s Health and Technology District.

Locally owned and operated Stong’s has been in business in southern B.C., for more than 90 years. The company has grocery stores in Vancouver, North Vancouver and Squamish.

The Health and Technology District, now home to high-profile organizations like the UBC Master of Physical Therapy program, continues to grow as a dynamic hub of innovation, said Surrey-based Lark. The growth highlights Surrey’s expanding demand for office and business spaces, positioning it as one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities, the company added.
The City Centre 4 building is being developed by ICT Group in partnership with Lark Group. The building is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025, and promises to further transform Surrey’s downtown core, said Lark.
