Tempo-Branded Hilton Hotel Coming to Toronto Airport

Hilton has announced plans to bring its Tempo by Hilton lifestyle brand to Canada with the opening of Tempo by Hilton Toronto Airport.

The 193-room hotel, part of a multi-use complex near Toronto Pearson International Airport, will mark the brand’s Canadian debut. The projected is expected to be completed in 2028.

Toronto-based Inspiration Group will develop, own and operate the hotel under a franchise agreement. Khalsa Design is serving as the 16-storey project’s designer.

Guest amenities will include Tempo Wellness rooms with Peloton equipment, a hydration bar, indoor pool, and more than 3,000 square feet of meeting space. Dining options will include a coffee bar.

“The introduction of Tempo by Hilton Toronto Airport represents an exciting milestone as we continue to bolster our offerings of world-class brands across Canada,” said Matt Wehling, Hilton’s senior vice-president, development for the U.S. and Canada.

Hilton currently operates more than 190 hotels in Canada, with nearly 110 in development. The Tempo addition supports Hilton’s strategy to double its lifestyle portfolio by 2028, said the company.
