Veyron Acquires Major Innisfil Distribution Centre from DSV: Report
Veyron has acquired a newly built 1.3-square-foot distribution centre in Innisfil, Ont., from Danish logistics giant DSV for about $300 million, according to a published report.
The report quoted Patrick Duffy, New York-based Veyron’s senior managing member, as the source of the details and quoted him on the amount of the acquisition.
DSV and Broccolini partnered on the development project in the Southwestern Ontario community located just off Highway 400 along Beach Road, south of Barrie, Ont.
Broccolini sold a 55-acre land parcel to DSV for an undisclosed price and agreed to build the distribution centre on the site, the company said on LinkedIn. The property is situated along Highway 400 near Beach Road.
Innisfil is located about 55 kilometres north of Toronto. DSV’s Canadian subsidiary, guided by Managing Director Rob Chanona, was originally expected to operate the distribution facility, which is slated for completion in the second quarter of 2025.
The vacant land parcel was one of two that Broccolini listed for sale through CBRE.
DSV is a global air, sea, road and rail freight, and contract logistics firm.
