AI and Automation Consultancy Ashling Opens New Office in Montreal

Ashling has opened a new office in Montreal, giving the global AI and automation consultancy a physical presence in Quebec and expanding its overall Canadian operations.

The new office will serve as Ashling’s provincial hub for AI and automation transformation, supporting enterprises looking to operationalize AI, accelerate adoption and build long-term internal capabilities. The company said the move follows years of serving Quebec-based clients remotely and growing demand for a locally embedded partner.

“By opening our Montreal office, we are positioning ourselves to tap into a unique talent pool and strengthen our long-term ability to help Quebec enterprises turn AI ambition into meaningful business impact.” said Don Sweeney, co-CEO of Ashling.

Ashling said the expansion comes as many companies continue to face challenges turning AI investments into measurable returns. Citing recent Bain & Co. research, the company noted that while most U.S. companies are using AI, many struggle to find the in-house expertise needed to scale adoption effectively.

“Our partnerships with leading technology and strategy innovators, including UiPath, Microsoft, Google, AWS, and Bain & Co., give our clients privileged access to the most cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and methodologies available,” said Ashling Co-CEO Mark Sied. “We help Quebec enterprises plan not just for where AI and automation are today, but where they’re going.”

Ashling’s new Montreal office is led by Client Principal Nicolas Payeur and supported by a bilingual team of AI specialists, solution architects, developers, business analysts and operating-model architects focused on delivering end-to-end automation programs for Quebec enterprises.

“After years of supporting Quebec clients remotely, it’s incredibly exciting to finally plant our flag here. Montreal has incredible talent, a unique culture, and an energy that’s hard to find anywhere else. I’m excited to build something here that supports local companies and helps us grow our presence across Canada.” said Payeur.

Ashling is a global AI and automation consulting firm based in Chicago, with its Canadian headquarters located in Toronto. The company specializes in digital-process transformation and about 250 specialists and award-winning expertise across agentic AI, robotic process automation, and intelligent-document processing, among other services. Ashling helps businesses across banking and financial services, manufacturing, retail, and other industries unlock value and scale impact.
