RONA Opens Eight New Stores across Canada
RONA has opened eight new RONA+ stores across Canada as the company continues its transition to the RONA+ and RONA banners.
The retailer said the newly converted stores are designed to provide customers with an improved shopping experience, expanded product selection, competitive pricing and enhanced customer service for construction and home-improvement projects.
“We have accomplished so much since RONA+ was launched over two years ago, and our results are positive,” said Sylvain Proulx, senior vice-president of store opat RONA inc.. Customers truly appreciate the brand, as we saw with the 10-point increase in the latest Léger Reputation Study.”
The company said the stores recently underwent major renovations and upgrades, including expanded PRO departments with new RONAPRO signage, new MOEN and Scotts Shop in Shops, updated kitchen departments with additional demonstrations, redesigned seasonal departments and broader modernization initiatives.
RONA said the converted stores will also offer local customers a wider range of products and flexible payment options.
The newly converted stores are:
- RONA+ Toronto Stockyards — Toronto;
- RONA+ Barrie South — Barrie, Ont.;
- RONA+ Kingston (Princess St) — Kingston, Ont.;
- RONA+ Merivale — Nepean, Ont.;
- RONA+ Calgary Sunridge (32nd NE) — Calgary;
- RONA+ Saskatoon (Preston Crossing) — Saskatoon;
- RONA+ Regina East — Regina;
- RONA+ Saint-Hyacinthe — Saint-Hyacinthe, Que.
