Fitzrovia Expanding to West Coast with Vancouver Office Opening

Fitzrovia has opened a West Coast office in downtown Vancouver, marking the company’s expansion into B.C. and the firm’s latest step in its national expansion.

The expansion coincides with the opening of Sen̓áḵw Phase I, a 1,409-unit Indigenous-led rental community at the foot of the Burrard Street Bridge in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood. Fitzrovia will provide property management services for the project alongside partners Squamish Nation, Nch’ḵay̓ Development Corporation, which is the Indigenous group’s real estate arm, and OPTrust.

“This city is extraordinary and distinct,” said Adrian Rocca, president and CEO of Toronto-based Fitzrovia in a LinkedIn post. “With great respect for place, our plan is to listen and learn as we bring Fitzrovia’s vision of hospitality, wellness and elevated resident experience.”

Leading the Vancouver office is Oscar Lisa, who has transitioned from his previous role as investments director in Toronto to vice-president of investments and head of Vancouver. Rachel Kwong, CPA, associate director, asset management, has also relocated from Toronto to support the company’s West Coast growth.

Fitzrovia said the new office builds on its expansion from a single Toronto office nine years ago to operations in Montreal and Vancouver, with a portfolio of more than 12,500 suites across Canada.
