Harry Rosen Reopens Reimagined Oakridge Store

Harry Rosen has reopened its reimagined Oakridge Park location in Vancouver, unveiling a new retail concept as part of the menswear retailer’s broader national store modernization strategy.

The new store spans more than 17,000 square feet and is positioned as one of the few dedicated luxury menswear destinations at Oakridge Park, offering tailored clothing, made-to-measure services, personalized wardrobe consultations and expanded client services. Oakridge Park is the massive 650,000-square-foot Oakridge mall redevelopment that saw its retail component open last week.

The previous Harry Rosen location at Oakridge closed for more than five years, along with most stores as the redeveloped mall was under construction.

“Reimagining Harry Rosen at Oakridge Park was about evolving how we serve our clients while staying true to who we are,” said Ian Rosen, president and chief operating office at Harry Rosen. “This store reflects our legacy of style authority and service, while embracing how Vancouverites dress, live, and work today. It’s a space designed to build relationships and wardrobes for the long term.”

The location features an elevated tailoring lounge, private fitting rooms for made-to-measure appointments and a central client bar designed to encourage personalized service and client interaction. A centre-stage display area will host rotating concepts, new merchandise and pop-up activations.

The store also includes an exclusive Zegna shop-in-shop with its own entrance, Isaia’s first hard shop-in-shop in Canada, a Tom Ford shop-in-shop, a dedicated Berluti footwear space and a curated assortment selected by Harry Rosen style advisors.

Designed in partnership with dkstudio architects inc., the store departs from traditional department store layouts through a 45-degree zoning strategy inspired by the serrated edge of tailor’s shears, intended to create more fluid sightlines and a more immersive shopping experience.

“This concept is about tension and balance, honouring legacy while creating momentum,” said Karen Mak, co-founder and CEO of dkstudio architects. “By shifting the geometry and dissolving traditional boundaries, we created an environment that feels crafted yet fluid, precise and fully energized.”

The reopening forms part of Harry Rosen’s $50-million, multi-year investment to modernize its retail network across Canada, following recent renovations in Toronto and Edmonton and ahead of a new flagship location planned for Toronto’s Cumberland Street.

“Oakridge Park represents a defining moment for luxury retail in Vancouver, and we’re proud to welcome Harry Rosen back with a reimagined concept that aligns with the future of the centre,” said Chrystal Burns, Executive Vice President, Canadian Retail Experience at QuadReal Property Group, the developer of Oakridge Park. “The brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and client relationships embodies the broader vision we have for Oakridge Park as a cultural and lifestyle destination.”
