Englobe Completes Acquisition of Fellow Engineering Firm Pluritec

Englobe has closed on its purchase of civil, structural and transportation-engineering specialist Pluritec.

The acquisition adds Pluritec’s 200 employees to Englobe’s multidisciplinary engineering platform.

The transaction, announced previously, strengthens Laval, Que.-based Englobe’s presence in Quebec and expands opportunities for collaboration on infrastructure projects across Canada, said the company. Pluritec will continue operating under its own brand with its existing team and client relationships while gaining access to Englobe’s national resources. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“This is a defining milestone in our growth in Québec,” said Englobe President Mike Cormier. “By bringing together Pluritec’s strong regional presence and multidisciplinary expertise with our national platform, we are strengthening our ability to deliver integrated solutions and support the next generation of infrastructure projects across the province and beyond.”

A Colliers company, Englobe employs more than 4,000 people across Canada and delivers more than 25,000 engineering and environmental-services projects annually.

Founded in 1972 and headqsuartered in Trois-Rivières, Que., Pluritec provides civil, structural and transportation-engineering services, primarily to municipal and para-public sector clients throughout Quebec.
