Creative Dev Acquires 189-Acre Parcel

Creative Dev Ventures has acquired a 189-acre land parcel in Pembroke, Ont., to develop a large community featuring mixed-use components.

Pembroke is a secondary market located about 195 kilometres northwest of Ottawa. The parcel and development are known collectively as Urban Edge.

The project will include a mix of purpose-built rental apartments, commercial and entrepreneurial hubs, recreational trail systems and play spaces.

“Through this development, we envision more than a cookie-cutter subdivision; we aim to cultivate a vibrant living space that fosters thriving lives, professional growth, and holistic well-being,” said Creative Dev CEO Carina Guzmán in a news release.

Creative Dev holds a diverse real estate portfolio across Ontario. The company says it focuses on community well-being through social cohesion, economic growth and stakeholder collaboration.

Creative Dev prioritizes intentional developments that respect the community and environmental context, and provide solutions for today’s housing challenges. The company is looking for partners on Urban Edge.
