Appelt to Develop Surrey MF/Healthcare Tower

Appelt Properties is preparing to develop a mixed-use tower in Surrey that will feature multi-family residential and healthcare spaces.

“This project is a testament to our vision of creating vibrant, sustainable communities,” said Greg Appelt, the company’s president. “We are confident that this development will set a new standard for mixed-use projects in Surrey, providing much needed rental apartments and best-in-class healthcare real estate.”

The project’s development application has passed through the second-reading stage with city council. Kelowna, B.C.-based Appelt now only needs to get the application through third reading for permission to develop it.

If all goes according to plan, the project will comprise 380,000 square feet, stand 41 storeys, contain 463 rental-apartment units and include 67,000 sf of outpatient healthcare service space.
