Akelius Seeks to Develop 70-Storey Multi-Family Tower in Toronto

Akelius aims to construct a 70-storey multi-family tower as part of a Toronto heritage-building redevelopment project.

Plans calls for a total of 647 rental-units units are proposed, including nine studio units, 315 one-bedroom units, 254 two-bedroom units 69 three-bedroom units (10.7%). The project would replace 48 replacement one-bedroom units among the 647 total suites.

The three-storey heritage buildings would also be retained. The project would also include which is comprised of indoor amenity rooms, outdoor amenity terraces and a rooftop garden, along with kitchens, multi-purpose, or exercise spaces.
