Bansal Joins Fasken’s Real Estate Group

Amrick Bansal has joined Fasken’s real estate group as a partner in Montreal.

Bansal brings more than 15 years of commercial property transaction experience to Canada’s largest law firm. Fasken announced his appointment in a news release.

Prior to joining Fasken, he was self-employed and served as vice-president of legal affairs with the Shapiro Group, a private investment firm in Montreal.

“Crossing the table from the client side, I bring a big picture mindset to address what keeps our clients up at night, whether real estate is a core or standalone part of their business,” said Bansal in the news release.

Bansal’s practice focuses on all aspects of real estate work, ranging from financings to acquisitions and dispositions to joint-ventures, large-scale developments and mergers and acquisitions, according to Fasken.

Bansal began his legal practice in commercial litigation and construction with Montreal-based De Grandpré Chait.
