BILD’s Alberta chapter has honoured Edmonton multi-residential real estate developers Radhe and Krishna Gupta for their decades of philanthropy.

BILD is the Building Industry and Land Development Association, a national development industry advocacy group. Radhe Gupta and his wife Krishna were recently inducted into BILD Alberta’s Volunteer Hall of Fame during a tribute ceremony in Banff.

The Guptas were recognized for their multiple philanthropic efforts, their longstanding innovation and dedication to building better places to live. The couple own and operate the Rohit Group of Companies, which they founded in 1986 and have grown into a large award-winning development company whose projects include multi-residential and other commercial developments.

“The seeds of giving back were planted by my father, from day one,” Krishna Gupta told Postmedia. “He was also in the homebuilding industry, but in India.”

Radhe Gupta praised his wife, who serves as Rohit’s designer, for holding the company together. Rohit operates in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Ottawa and includes other Gupta family members.
