Ability Biotherapeutics Preleases Whole Floor at Inspire Bio Project

Ability Biotherapeutics has preleased the entire sixth floor of the Inspire Bio Innovations project’s second phase in Montreal.

Ability is Quebec-based pioneer in next-generation targeted therapies. The announcement, made by developer Jadco Group, marks a major step in the continued transformation of the former Montréal Chest Institute into a world-class life sciences hub. Inspire Bio has secured international acclaim as a Future Office Project of the Year from the World Architecture Festival.

The project is attracting a growing ecosystem of researchers, institutions, and biotech companies.

“We firmly believe that Inspire Bio Innovations is the ideal hub for nurturing the next generation of researchers and innovators who will propel the entire life sciences ecosystem forward,” said Normand Rivard managing partner of life sciences and innovation at Jadco. “Montreal possesses all the attributes necessary to strengthen its role as one of the most dynamic and promising international centres in this field.”

Set for completion by the end of 2026, the space will support Ability’s work developing antibody-based therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. By 2028, Ability expects to triple its workforce as it moves from preclinical trials into large-scale production.

“We are excited to pursue our activities within Inspire Bio Innovations, a cutting-edge hub that fosters exchanges and interactions with top-tier researchers and innovative entrepreneurs,” said

“The collaborative environment created by Jadco is ideal for advancing the development of therapies with the potential to transform the treatment of patients with cancer or autoimmune diseases, both in Quebec and globally,” said Patrick Tremblay, chief operating officer at Abilit.

Inspire Bio is located in downtown Montréal with close access to research institutions. This proximity is expected to streamline clinical studies and encourage deeper collaboration across the life sciences ecosystem, according to Jadco.

Jadco focuses on real estate developments tailored for the life sciences industry.
