Bolduc Named President of Construction Industry Leader Groupe Colas Québec
Jean-François Bolduc has been appointed president of construction industry leader Groupe Colas Québec.
Parent company Colas Canada announced the appointment in a news release. Bolduc brings more than 30 years of experience as a global engineering, consulting, environmental services and construction executive. He most recently served as president of Logistect Environmental Services and Sanexen Environmental Services in North America. He has also held senior leadership roles including CEO of the European Middle East and Africa region at Environmental Resources Management and president of Golder Europe.
Groupe Colas Québec is a major player in transportation infrastructure construction and maintenance and aggregate materials production, operating 65 facilities and employing nearly 2,000 people across the province.
“Jean-François brings a proven track record of transformation, operational excellence, people-centred and business outcomes-centred leadership,” said François Vachon, president of Colas Canada. “His experience leading complex, multi-regional organizations and delivering sustainable performance makes him exceptionally well-suited to lead Colas in Quebec into its next phase of development.”
Bolduc said he is eager to take on the role as the company continues to evolve.
Colas has operated in Quebec for more than 60 years, growing through acquisitions and organic expansion to build a broad portfolio focused on transportation infrastructure and construction materials.
Both Cola Canada and the Quebec business fall unders the ownership umbrella of the Paris-based Colas Group.
