Brampton Slated to Receive 13 Towers Near GO Station
A 13-tower mixed-use development rising as high as 44 storeys has been proposed near a future GO Transit station in Brampton, Ont.
Plans submitted by Cortel Group, operating as MCN Heritage, call for a large-scale, transit-oriented community in the city’s northwest, roughly 500 metres from the planned Heritage Heights GO Station on the Kitchener Line, Urban Toronto reported.
The proposal, designed by Architecture Unfolded, envisions 13 residential towers arranged across the site near Mississauga Road and Bovaird Drive West, within a designated Major Transit Station Area. The building heights of up to 44 storeys would make the proposed development one of the more significant intensification projects planned for the area, according to Urban Toronto.
The development, known as Heritage Heights, is intended to deliver a high-density, mixed-use community centred on transit access, aligning with broader regional planning goals to concentrate growth around GO stations.
