Brivia, Club Med Looking to Develop New Tremblant Resort

Brivia Group and Club Med are exploring the possibility of developing a new all-season resort in the Mont-Tremblant, Que., area.

The companies said they are in talks with Mont-Tremblant Resort about the potential venture. If Brivia and Club Med follow through on their plans, the resort project would include a 300-room hotel and multi-residential units on the Versant Soleil side, on part of the L’Hymne-des-Trembles site.

Brivia is spearheading the overall potential project. Club Med would lead the development of the hospitality side with Brivia focusing on delivering residential phases.

Brivia and Club Med said Tremblant offers many advantages for hosting such a large-scale project, including a four-season destination and alignment with Club Med’s clientele.

The project’s progress depends on the partners taking several key steps, including securing financing. Several investors and banks are already showing interest, according to Brivia and Club Med.

The companies said the potential project would obtain sustainable-building certifications and create 300 direct jobs and another 300 indirect positions.

If the steps are completed, construction could begin in summer 2026 with the resort opening by year-end 2028.

Club Med already has one resort in the province, Club Med Québec Charlevoix.
