Broccolini to Develop 1.3M-SF Distribution Centre for DSV

Broccolini is partnering with Danish logistics firm DSV on a new 1.3-million-square-foot distribution centre in Southwestern Ontario.

Broccolini sold a 55-acre land parcel in Innisfil, Ont., to DSV for an undisclosed price and agreed to build the distribution centre on the site, the company said on LinkedIn. The property is situated along Highway 400 near Beach Road.

Innisfil is located about 55 kilometres north of Toronto. Preliminary construction work is already underway and an official groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for June.

DSV’s Canadian subsidiary, guided by Managing Director Rob Chanona, is expected to operate the distribution facility, which is slated for completion in the second quarter of 2025.

The vacant land parcel is one of two that are adjacent to each other. The other one, also owned by Broccolini, is listed for sale at a price of $28.5 million. CBRE listed both properties for Broccolini.

Montreal-based Broccolini is a family-owned construction, development and real estate services firm. Chief Investment Officer Michael Broccolini heads the real estate arm.

DSV is a global air, sea, road and rail freight, and contract logistics firm.
