Canada’s Avison Young Expands into Vietnam
Canada’s Avison Young has expanded into Vietnam through an affiliation with an existing operation.
Toronto-based Avison Young is teaming up with D&P Company, which has more than 100 commercial real estate professionals based in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The expansion also marks Avison Young’s entry into the Southeast Asian marketplace.
“Vietnam’s robust economy and dynamic real estate sector offer tremendous opportunities for us to deliver innovative solutions to our clients,” said Mark Rose, who chairs the company and serves as CEO, in a news release.
Peter Dinning will chair Avison Young’s Vietnamese business and David Jackson will serve as its CEO.
D&P was previously affiliated with another Canadian company that operates globally, Toronto-based Colliers. Both Dinning and Jackson have more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience in Southeast Asia.
Avison Young is offering transactional, management and consulting services across all major property types in the country. The company opened its first Asian office in Seoul in 2018.
