Canadians Honoured in First ApartmentBuildings.com Awards

Leading Canadian multi-family real estate executives are among the first winners of the ApartmenBuildings.com 100 Awards.

The awards are presented by Connect CRE, Connect Canada CRE, and ApartmentBuildings.com to leading professionals across the U.S. and Canada. This year marked the first time that the awards were distributed.

The ApartmentBuildings.com 100, honour advancement and achievement in the broadly defined multi-family space, including build-to-rent, student housing, seniors housing, and mixed-use with residential. From dealmaking and development to technology and finance, the awards recognize success across deal sizes and pay tribute to innovation.

BJ Santalvy, vice-president of Guelph, Ont.,-based Skyline Living; Naama Blonder, founder of Toronto-based Smart Density; and Sarah Segal, co-founder CEO of Toronto-headquarterd real estate analytics firm simplydbs, were all recipients of the inaugural AB100 Innovators of the Year Awards.

Meanwhile, Mark Goodman, co-founder and Principal of Vancouver-based Goodman Commercial, and Harvey Russell, a vice-president and principal with Calgary-based NAI Advent, both captured AB100 Dealmakers of the Year honours.
