Cineplex plans to open a new Playdium location in Toronto.

Cineplex to Open New Playdium Location

Cineplex will launch a new Playdium location at Fairview mall in Toronto, the company has announced.

“We’re combining the best in entertainment and fast-casual dining by opening a Playdium alongside our Cineplex cinemas at CF Fairview mall,” said Cineplex President and CEO Ellis Jacob in a news release. “Family and friends can come together for movies, gaming and delicious food, in a one stop shop for fun.”

The new Playdium will comprise about 20,000 square feet. The play centre will offer games and attractions for all skill levels. Food and beverages, including chef-inspired burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, nachos, tacos and sweet treats, will be sold.

“In addition to a compelling retail mix, a key component of our shopping centre offering is providing engaging and entertaining experiences,” said Rory MacLeod, CF”s executive vice-president, in the news release.
