Clement Opens Largest Kids’ Clothing Store in Ontario

Quebec children’s clothing retailer Clement has expanded into Ontario.

Clement says its new 19,000-square-foot location in Ottawa’s Bayshore shopping centre is the largest store of its kind in Ontario.

The outlet also offers children’s shoes, accessories and furniture, among other items.

“This store opening constitutes one more step in our company’s development strategy,” said Jean-Philippe Clement, the chain’s administrator, in a news release.

More than 10,000 products will be available at the new location, including clothing for babies to 20-year-olds, breastfeeding products and maternity clothes. A Sport Chek store occupied the space previously.

Founded in 1939 by the Clement family, the Montreal-based retailer has 30 stores in Quebec and Ontario.
