Clifton Blake Merges with Metropolitan Commercial Under New Brand

Clifton Blake, a real estate investment and asset management firm, has merged with Metropolitan Commercial Realty under a new brand name, CB Metropolitan Commercial (CB Metcom).

The move combines the strengths of both firms, aiming to create a market-leading integrated real estate platform.

With the merger, Clifton Blake gains access to an expansive broker network of over 250 professionals and two decades of market experience. The integration boosts the firm’s ability to source off-market deals, enhance underwriting precision, and access real-time property intelligence. The expanded client base also unlocks new capital channels, broadening market reach.

“Clifton Blake offers the leading full cycle solution for optimizing and managing real estate assets,” said KC Daya, CEO of Clifton Blake. “By adding a commercial brokerage to our in-house capabilities, we now control a broader segment of the real estate value chain, from origination and underwriting, to lending, construction, leasing, and property management.”

The collaboration enhances operational agility and growth potential for both entities. CB Metcom clients will now benefit from Clifton Blake’s lending and investment solutions, while Clifton Blake gains from CB Metcom’s presence in key markets to support local strategies, a news release states.

“We’re stronger together,” said Ming Zee, managing director of CB Metcom. “By joining Clifton Blake, we’re offering something rare in the market.

“Our brokerage team now operates within a fully integrated real estate platform, supported by capital, lending, and development expertise. We are well-positioned to expand our capabilities, surpassing previous limitations in the scope of services we offered to our clients.”

The merged organization is headquartered in Toronto.
