Colliers’ Riar Specializes in Office Transactions

(Taylor Riar, a vice-president in Colliers’ Edmonton office, is among the recipients of a 2025 Canadian Top Brokers Award, presented by Connect. This profile explains how the talented team stood out among its peers in 2024. Check out all of our award winners.)

By Amy Wolff Sorter

As a Colliers’ vice president, Taylor Riar quickly became a top performer in the company’s Edmonton office and a well-respected leader in the market.  Throughout his 10-year career in commercial real estate, Riar ranked third at Colliers Edmonton for his 2024 revenue, which increased by 20% over his 2023 numbers.

During the past year, he closed 25 transactions totaling 300,000 square feet, with a deal volume of $706,000. Highlights included a 10-year 33,000-square-foot lease on behalf of a blue-chip tenant, which attracted additional tenants to the building.

These are some of the reasons we selected Taylor Riar as one of Connect CRE Canada’s Top Broker Award winners for 2025. These awards recognize industry professionals who have demonstrated the highest standards and transaction volumes in investment sales and leasing.
