Colonnade BridgePort Expands into Atlantic Canada

Colonnade BridgePort has expanded into the Maritimes with the opening of offices in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

The full-service real estate and investment management company has set up offices in in Dartmouth, N.S., which is part of the Halifax region, and Fredericton, N.B. The offices are staffed by local teams of property management and leasing veterans.

The company’s Atlantic Canada portfolio contains more than one million square feet worth of industrial/flex properties and two land holdings in the Halifax area, Fredericton and Moncton, N.B., said Colonnade in a news release.

“We determined that our approach to real estate management was an ideal fit for the Atlantic Canada market,” said Ron Mathason, Colonnade’s senior vice-president of real estate management services.

Colonnade’s full suite of services will cover all asset classes, including office, retail, industrial and residential.

The Ottawa-based firm now manages a total of about 12.5 million sf in all asset classes across the National Capital Region, the Greater Toronto Area, Southern Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
