Concert Purchases Calgary-Area Business Park

Concert Income Properties has acquired a 436,291-square-foot business park in Calgary’s industrial market.

The three-building property, named the Rockyview Business Park, is located on the boundary of Calgary and Balzac, Alta., in the County of Rocky View. The fully leased multi-tenant warehouse and distribution assets were built between 2013 and 2015.

The business park sits near major transport arteries, including the Stoney Trail Ring Road, Trans-Canada Highway, Queen Elizabeth II Highway (more commonly known as Highway 2) and the CANAMEX corridor.

Concert Investment Properties is a subsidiary of Vancouver-based Concert Properties.

“This acquisition underscores our commitment to investing in strategically located prime industrial properties that offer both stability and growth potential,” said Christine Bergeron, the parent firm’s president and CEO, in a news release.

“Rockyview Business Park exemplifies the calibre of assets that are integral to our portfolio’s success.”
