Construction Begins on Savana Sur Le Parc

Construction has begun on a new 84-unit apartment building in Montreal’s Triangle district.

Omnia Technologies, Groupe HD and Claridge broke ground on their $35-million Savana Sur Le Parc project.

Omnia and Groupe HD are serving as the 10-storey project’s developers, while Claridge is the financial partner, the companies said in a news release. Architect Gregor Huot of Innedesign is designing the development.

The property is adjacent to a park (Parc de la Savane) and situated between two subway stations in the Côte-des-Neiges area within the Triangle district. A potential completion date was not announced.

Indiana-based Omnia specializes in the construction and development of large-scale residential, industrial and commercial projects. The company says it has more than $1 billion invested in development.

Montreal-based Groupe HD focuses on real estate investment, development, construction and management.

Claridge was founded in 1987 by reknown Montreal-based real estate investor and entrepreneur Charles Bronfman. The company holds real estate and other assets in diverse global regions.
