CRE Industry Leaders to Converge at Canada Kick-off

Canadian commercial real estate industry leaders will converge at CIBC Square in Toronto on Tuesday for Connect’s Canada Kick-off Event.

The afternoon conference will be Connect’s first in Canada.

Panelists will include Peter Senst, president of CBRE’s Canadian capital markets national investment team; Rob Kumer, the new CEO of Kingsett Capital; Syl Apps, managing director and co-country head for Hines; Lindsay Brand, chief investment officer at Concert Properties; Mark Kenney, CEO of Canadian Apartment Properties REIT; Ray Wong, Altus Group’s vice-president of data solutions and client delivery; and, Marie-France Benoit, Avison Young’s director of Canadian market intelligence.

The experts will discuss where the Canadian commercial real estate market is headed through 2024 and beyond, examine ways to house Canada’s growing population and explain why U.S. and other international companies are coming to Canada.
