CWIRE Award Winner D’Alimonte Shares Insights on CRE Law at Events

Silvana D’Alimonte is a partner and lawyer with Blakes in Toronto, where she provides three decades of experience in commercial real estate.
Her practice focuses on real financings, joint-venture transactions, acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties, receivership sales, security enforcement, and restructurings. D’Alimonte is known for her dedication to providing clients with timely, high-quality service, offering practical and effective advice tailored to achieving each client’s objectives.
She is a member of the Blakes executive committee, which contributes to the development of the firm’s policies and approaches, along with the partners and administrative executives
In addition, D’Alimonte has served as a speaker at several industry conferences, where she shares insights into real estate law. She is also a member of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, reflecting her deep expertise in mortgage-related matters.
D’Alimonte has contributed to numerous publications, authoring articles on topics such as loans to joint-ventures, due diligence in real estate financings, and the specifics of tendering within an electronic registration environment.
Chambers Canada named her one of Canada’s Leading Lawyers for Business in 2021 for her work in Ontario and nationwide. She also garnered a Legal 500 Canada Award (Leading Lawyer, Real Estate) (2020-2021) and was included in the The Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada 2021 (Property Development.)
