Delves Oversees Quantum’s Office Projects

(Connect is spotlighting winners of the inaugural Canadian Women in Real Estate Awards. In this article, we profile Diane Delves, an award recipient in the Pacific region category.)

Diane Delves has spent the past 23 years leading and growing Abbotsford, B.C.-based Quantum Properties Group.

In her role as president and CEO, she oversees the development, construction and leasing of office buildings in B.C. Meanwhile, she also sets the development, construction and sales direction for the company’s condominium properties business.

In addition to working with Quantum, she founded, owned and operated Argent Appraisals before selling the company in 2006.

Outside of her company activities, Delves sits on TransLink’s external real estate development advisory committee. (TransLink is the transportation authority for the B.C. south coast region and operates its rapid-transit and bus systems.)

She has also served as a vice-chair at large and director with the Urban Development Institute’s Pacific region, chaired UDI’s Fraser Valley chapter and served on the boards of Partnerships B.C. and the Abbotsford Airport Authority for about five years and 10 years, respectively.

Partnerships B.C. is a provincial corporation that advises the government on public-private partnerships while also facilitating and evaluating them.
