Developer Shindico Launches Construction Company

Shindico Group has founded a new construction company specializing in the commercial, including multi-family, and light-industrial property sectors.

SNR Construction is a general contracting division offering pre-construction, design-build and construction management sectors, said Winnipeg-based Shindico in a news release.

The construction team will provide vertical integration and a complementary skillset to Shindico’s existing real estate professionals, the company added.

“We intend to build strong relationships with top consultants, subtrades, and suppliers as we streamline project delivery lifecycles and bridge the gap between development and property management functions,” said Colin Boisjoli, SNR Construction’s vice-president, in the release.

SNR has joined the Winnipeg and Canadian construction associations. Shindico develops all forms of commercial real estate. The company’s other offerings include asset management, brokerage, investment, property management, tenant representation and capital markets advisory services.
