Di Zio Positions Crown as National ESG Leader

(Connect has handed out its third-annual Canadian Women in Real Estate Awards. This story profiles Monica Di Zio of Crown Property Management.)

Monica Di Zio is a vice-president of real estate services at Crown Property Management. During the company’s leadership transition in spring 2025, Di Zio developed and implemented a thoughtful internal and external strategy that ensured clarity, confidence, and continuity across all stakeholder groups at a pivotal time for the company.

Di Zio leads Crown’s Innovation Committee, supporting the addition of new technologies to boost team connections and efficiencies. She improved the tenant experience from the launch of apps to the rollout of Crown’s Customer Service Journey Initiative.

She developed Crown’s ESG communications strategy, positioning the firm as a national leader in the space. Her approach balanced authenticity with purpose-driven messaging, reinforcing Crown’s reputation as an organization committed to creating meaningful and measurable impact.

These are just some of the reasons why Connect Canada CRE honoured Monica Di Zio with a 2025 Canadian Women in Real Estate Award. The awards celebrate the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
