Dilawri, Canada’s largest automotive group, has acquired Volvo Cars West Island in the Montreal suburb of Pointe-Claire, Que.

The purchase marks the company’s first franchised Volvo retail operation in Quebec and its second in Canada.

Formerly known as Volvo West Island, the dealership becomes part of Dilawri’s growing network, which now spans 38 automotive brands across 83 facilities in Canada and the U.S., including 13 locations in the Montreal area.

Located at 15 Auto Plaza, Volvo Cars West Island is a full-service dealership offering sales, service, and parts. Situated near the intersection of Boulevard Saint-Jean and Brunswick Boulevard, just two blocks north of the Trans-Canada Highway, the new facility enhances Dilawri’s presence in Montreal’s West Island, where the company already operates seven franchised dealerships.
