Distech Begins Global HQ Expansion in Brossard

Distech Controls has begun a 43,000-square-foot expansion project at its global headquarters in the Montreal suburb of Brossard, Que.

The expansion will support the needs of the company’s rapidly growing customer base, said Distech in a news release.

“We are focused on expanding our addressable market by increasing where we compete and what we can control.” said Martin Villeneuve, Distech’s president.

The Brossard project follows the completion of the firm’s European headquarters expansion in Brignais, France earlier this year.

Distech building automation controllers, sensors and software are being used throughout the building to drive energy efficiency and support a healthy environment.

The company said it has worked with commercial real estate advisory firm JLL, general contractor QMD and Neuf Architectes to create a collaborative, modern workspace that reflects Distech’s mission to make spaces smarter, safer and greener.

The company partners with customers to deliver innovative solutions designed to provide better health, spaces, and efficiencies.

Distech serves multiple market segments through worldwide business divisions, service offices and a network of authorized system integrators and distributors.
