Dr. Phone Fix Accelerates Expansion Across Canada

Dr. Phone Fix is accelerating its national expansion program after increasing its store count by 26% over the final 44 days of 2025.

The consumer-electronics repair and resale chain grew to 44 locations from 35 during the period. Building on the momentum, Edmonton-based Dr. Phone Fix plans to continue scaling through a mix of acquisitions and organic openings, with a stated objective of growing its corporately owned network to about 70 locations over the next 12 months, the company said.

“We are expanding rapidly while simultaneously improving performance at the store level. That combination is exactly what we believe will drive long-term shareholder value,” said Piyush Sawhney, the company’s founder and CEO.

The rapid expansion was driven by six locations added through the previously announced acquisition of Geebo Device Repair Inc. in Atlantic Canada, along with three new stores opened organically in Alberta, Nova Scotia and Ontario.

The company said the growth push coincided with improving store-level performance. From October to December 2025, average annualized revenue across the original 35 stores rose from to about $350,000 per location $320,000. The company attributed the revenue growth to stronger execution, improved operations and rising brand recognition.

“We believe the market opportunity remains highly fragmented and under-consolidated,” said Sawhney. “Our proven ability to integrate acquisitions, improve store-level performance, and scale profitably gives us confidence in our path forward.”
