Eataly to Open New Location at CF Eaton Centre

Italian retailer and marketplace operator Eataly is preparing to open a new 25,000-square-foot location on November 25 at CF Toronto Eaton Centre.

The opening at the downtown mall will mark the brand’s fourth store in Toronto and its third in partnership with Cadillac Fairview, the owner of Eaton Centre.

“Eataly Eaton Centre is a continuation of our story in Canada, cementing our appreciation for the community we’ve built here since first opening Eataly Yorkville in 2019,” said Tommaso Brusò, CEO of Eataly North America. “As an icon of the city and a premier destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment, we are excited to bring a taste of Italy to CF Toronto Eaton Centre’s impressive roster of retailers, just in time for the holiday season.”

The two-level space will feature two restaurants, several quick-service counters, a retail selection of fresh and dry goods, and a wine shop in a marketplace setting.

With over 190 seats, Eataly Eaton Centre will host La Pizza & La Pasta, offering Neapolitan pizza, artisanal pasta, regional delicacies, seasonal specials such as white truffle, and a wine list of more than 100 labels. Nearby, La Piazza will serve Italian wines and hand-shaken cocktails, as well as light bites and aperitivo, an Italian tradition of pre-dinner drinks and light snacks.

The Eataly marketplace will sell hundreds of made-in-Italy products. The quick-service counters will include Il Gran Caffè with Illy espresso, La Pasticceria with croissants and pastries, Il Gelato with gelato and sorbetto, and Pizza alla Pala offering Roman-style pizza and stuffed farcita.
