EBlock Launches Physical, Online Vehicle Auction Centre in Halifax

EBlock has opend a new physical and online automobile-auction facility in Halifax.

The new 6.5-acre facility can hold up to 600 vehicles and underscores the company’s “Canada-first” strategy and its vision of blending traditional auction methods with digital technologies, said EBlock.

The location is designed to further EBlock’s omnichannel approach, including online, live-auctioneer or in-line auctions. EBlock recently held a grand opening in which vehicles were showcased through the facility’s lanes and the company’s digital platform.

The location contains two lanes for weekly sales or customer-specific events.

“The opening of our Halifax experience centre is a pivotal moment for EBlock and the Canadian wholesale market,” said Lisa Scott, president of EBlock. “These are not physical auctions; they are dynamic facilities that enhance the essential logistics dealers and commercial clients need to conduct business effectively. More importantly, they celebrate the vital social and cultural importance of our industry, ensuring we meet our customers precisely where and how they want to do business, whether that’s through a digital dashboard or a personal handshake. “

EBlock is also slated to open a similar new facility in Edmonton in the fourth quarter of 2025.
