EBlock Set to Open New Auto Auction Facility in Halifax

EBlock will open a new automobile-auction facility in Halifax in July, the company announced.

The new 6.5-acre facility can hold up to 600 vehicles and underscores the company’s “Canada-first” strategy and its vision of blending traditional auction methods with digital technologies, said EBlock.

The location is designed to further EBlock’s omnichannel approach, including online, live-auctioneer or in-line auctions.

“The Halifax facility is more than just a physical location; it’s a testament to our evolving vision for the automotive-wholesale landscape,” said EBlock President, Lisa Scott. “We are dedicated to delivering a seamless experience that combines the reliability of traditional auctions with the efficiency of digital solutions, all while supporting our customers with excellent service.”

Meanwhile, EBlock said it has secured a long-term Edmonton facility which will host omnichannel auctions, replicating the Halifax location’s model.

The Edmonton is slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2025.
